Rise seen in UK job vacancies in last pre-coronavirus levels
(MENAFN) Fresh figures demonstrated that the number of job vacancies in the UK exceeded pre-coronavirus levels from April to June.
There were 862,000 jobs on offer in the second quarter, higher by 77,500 from the first quarter of 2021, stated the Office for National Statistics.
Vacancies in hospitality and retailing steered the increase.
Last month, the number of people on payrolls expanded, representing the greatest increase since the beginning of the pandemic.
