Uzbekistan, Pakistan ink tactical partnership accord


(MENAFN)Uzbek president's press service declared on Friday, July 16, that Uzbekistan and Pakistan have inked a tactical partnership accord, promising to increase joint trade volume by five times.

The accord was inked by Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and visiting Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, who both received a joint business debate on regional connectivity.

After the discussion, several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and accords with a total worth of USD500 million were signed to reinforce collaboration in diverse regions, counting transit trade and the simplification of visa procedures for businessmen and travelers.
