(MENAFN- Ewings) 15 July 2021, Dubai, UAE: The 33rd weekly live Mahzooz draw ended on a high note as five Indian participants matched 5 out of 6 numbers and shared the AED 1,000,000 second prize. Each lucky winner took home AED 200,000.
For Shafi, 48, from Kerala, luck knocked on his door sooner than he expected.
“Last Saturday was only my second participation in Mahzooz, and I never thought I’d win this fast. I was surprised when I got a call from the Mahzooz team informing me that I have won AED 200,000. I was speechless. I feel so blessed and lucky," said Shafi.
Shafi works at a pharmacy in Dubai and has lived here for 19 years. “This win is a huge relief for me as I’m no longer worried about my financial burden. Thanks to Mahzooz for this life-changing prize,” added Shafi.
As for Ravoof, who is also from Kerala, he participates in Mahzooz regularly and believes that consistency is the key to success.
“I’ve been participating in Mahzooz since day one, and I watch the live draw every Saturday. But this Saturday was like no other to me! The moment I saw the winning numbers on the screen I started jumping in the air. I was thrilled and overwhelmed. I’ve never felt this happy before,” said Ravoof who has lived in Oman for five years.
The 27-year-old is now setting his future direction in life. “With this money, I can now plan for my future with more clarity and confidence. My next step is to get married and have my own family. I will also help some of my relatives who have supported me during my tough days,”
The 33rd weekly live Mahzooz draw has also transformed the life of a security guard who lives in Al Ain. Sanjeev, 35, from Punjab knows exactly how he will invest his winnings.
“I have been away from my family for 10 years already. Thanks to Mahzooz, I can now bring them to the UAE. Being able to reunite with my kids is the best thing I can dream of. Having them with me is priceless. I miss them every day,” he said.
Mohammed, 38, from Hyderabad is planning to share some of his prize money with others.
“Winning feels good. But what feels great is when you can share your blessings and happiness with others. To me, this will make my prize money more meaningful. I will donate part of my winnings to charities and help as many people as I can,” said the family man who lives in Sharjah.
Prabhu, 37, from Chennai has already started acting on his lifelong dream.
“My wife and I have always dreamt of having our own home in Chennai. Thanks to Mahzooz, our dream will soon be a reality. Good things happen to those who believe that anything is possible,” said Prabhu.
For those who missed out on last week’s live draw, entrants can participate in Mahzooz by registering via and purchasing a bottle of water. Each bottle of water purchased (for AED 35) provides eligibility for one line in the draw and the donation is channelled through Mahzooz’s community partners to hydrate those in need.
The next draw will be held as scheduled on Saturday 17 July 2021 at 9:00pm UAE time. Mahzooz is inclusive to all who are eligible.
