MUSCAT, July 11 (KUNA) -- GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf praised Sunday the visit of the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tareq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a statement for Oman News Agency, Dr. Al-Hajraf said that the visit comes to enhance the bilateral relations with Saudi Arabia, as it reflects the strong and deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries.
He expressed his hope that efforts of the two leaders of Saudi Arabia and Oman "will be crowned by the leaders of the GCC states for the good of the GCC states, their security and prosperity, and the service of their citizens."
The visit comes as a consolidation of common visions, interests, and cooperation for the good of the GCC countries, their security, prosperity, and the service of their citizens, he noted. (end)
