(MENAFN)According to the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), the industry scale of China's artificial intelligence (AI) sector hit about USD43.4 billion last year.
The data on Friday, July 9, revealed at the 2021 World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai CAICT, a research institute under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The data also unveils that the sector scale of the international AI sector increased by 12 percent year on year to USD156.5 billion last year, while China saw yearly expansion of 15 percent.
The expansion of trustworthy AI has become a main concern for the sector internationally, as the technology brings not only opportunities but also risks and challenges.
