DGCA: Kuwait wins TSA membership that allows it to take decision


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 6 (KUNA) -- The General Administration of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced Tuesday that Kuwait has won a membership at the Transportation Security Administration Committee (TSA).
In a statement to KUNA, an official of the DGCA said that this membership would give Kuwait the hand to make decisions, and leads to creating more cooperation opportunities, the opening of airlines and the return, gradually, to the full activation of Kuwait International Airport within the coronavirus security measures.
He praised the Kuwaiti leadership in building the good relationship with all Arab countries, which gave Kuwait a boost of respect throughout the Arab world.
He also said that the support of Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Head of the DGCA Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sabah and the accompanying delegation paved the way towards gaining this membership. (end)
