Our History
The website sprung to life on November 24, 2019, as our founder by IIT Kharagpur alumnus Mr. Bhart Singh took a small but significant step forward to elevate his love for sports and serve the community. With no one to back him, he single-handedly maintained the website in its early days while pursuing his post-graduation at IIT Roorkee.
As he continued to work his way through his busy schedule to fulfill his dream, he met like-minded people former mates Deepak Dudy, a die-heart MMA/WWE fan and nutrition advisor by profession, and Siddharth Kr Singh, an aspiring sports management professional.
As the deadly pandemic brought the world to a stop, they continued to toil their way through. As people from all around the country joined us, we reached new heights with our dedicated and hardworking workforce. In the very first year, we reached over a million impressions and continue to toil away to serve the sports fanatics across the globe.
What we do?
We at FirstSportz cover everything that is sports under the sun. From cricket and football to Olympic sports like boxing, wrestling and shooting to martial arts and E-sports, we strive to bring to you all the latest updates in the sports world. We cover the latest news and analytics across sports. We also cover live games as well as sit down with Olympians and athletes to help put their struggles and hard work in front of the masses who are often unaware of them.
In just 18 months, we rank among the top 90,000 websites on the web. It is a testament to the hard work we have put in as a team to serve the sporting community as a whole. The monthly reach of the website ranges from 1 to 2 Million in just less than 18 months.
Why we started this ?
Our founder, Mr. Bhart Singh was a huge sports follower from the very beginning. As he grew up, he felt the need to give back to the community which has had been a great part of his life. Initially, he thought upon starting a sports school in Rewari. He met various MLAs to decide upon a piece of land to build the school. The idea was to nurture elite aspiring athletes who could represent the country on the international level. And most importantly giving chances to the deserving candidates to live their dream in the world of sports.
However, when the overwhelming idea was declined for heartbreaking reasons, Bhart Singh held his nerve to not let his passion for sports die in any manner. He then realised that the best way to give back to the community is to help spread the word about sports.
So, he spun up a website to do so. He intended to repay the community for all that he enjoyed and learned as a sports fanatic. And what better way to do so than serving the community by spreading the word for their hard work and dedication to people who are unaware of it.
What is our final aim?
Our final aim is to become one of the leading sports websites around the globe. As with every passing day, we strive to get a step closer to our goal, we are confident of fulfilling it very soon. As we strive to achieve our goal, we enjoy every minute we spend serving the community and watching the sports we so dearly love.
While reaching the pinnacle of the industry is our endgame, we also plan to help athletes achieve their true potential. While India has an abundance of talent, we fail to provide the proper training and infrastructure to excel. We at FirstSportz plan to help aspiring athletes achieve their potential once we achieve our endgame.
In the 18 month journey so far, FirstSportz has always incorporated college students and has cultivated their knowledge in the most informative fashion. As we grow, we aim to help our employees not only learn but also lead a comfortable life while doing what they love most.
