Kuwaiti charity arranges 2,500 food pack handout to displaced Yemenis


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ADAN, June 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Society for Relief on Thursday completed a campaign which delivered 2,500 food aid packages to displaced families in Yemen's governorate of Taez.
A statement by the Yemeni organization carrying out the project said the packs were handed out in five districts in Taiz.
This package aims to relief the suffering of the families and those affected by the war.
The aid comes as part of a larger campaign which has thus far seen 24,000 food packs, provided by the Kuwait Society for Relief, distributed amongst 10 provinces throughout Yemen since Ramadan in mid-May. (end)
