Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani met yesterday with President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union H E Duarte Pacheco; Chairperson of Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean H E Gennaro Migliore; Deputy Director of United Nations Counter-Terrorism Centre and Chief of Special Projects and Innovation Branch H E Mauro Miedico and Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean Ambassador H E Sergio Piazzi, on the occasion of their visit to the country to participate in the inauguration of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) program office on Parliamentary Engagement in Preventing and Countering Terrorism.
The meeting was attended by Speaker of the Shura Council H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud.
