KUWAIT, June 16 (KUNA) -- Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah held talks on Wednesday with the United Kingdom Ambassador to the State of Kuwait Belinda Lewis on issues of common concern.
The MoI said in a statement that the minister Sheikh Thamer affirmed during the meeting depth of the relations with the United Kingdom, adding that the two sides addressed information and expertise swap at the security level as well as matters related to joint training programs.
Later today, the minister met with the Qatari Ambassador Bandar Al-Atiah on the occasion of concluding his tenure. The outgoing envoy expressed gratitude to Kuwait for the warm hospitality, good wishes to the country under the sagacious leadership of His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Crown Prince. (end)
