Chinese key bicycle companies witness income rise in first four months


(MENAFN) Official figures demonstrated that key bicycle makers in China registered robust performance during the January-April period of 2021, with their combined income and proceeds both recording double-digit expansion.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) reported that bicycle makers with yearly operating proceeds of more than 20 million yuan (around USD3.13 million) gained about USD356 million in income during the first four months period, a climb by 75.8 percent annually.

MIIT figures demonstrated that the combined operating proceeds of the companies increased 58.3 percent over one year earlier to around USD10,01 billion.

During the slump, the whole income derived from the two-wheeled bicycle making of the companies increased 198.9 percent annually, whereas that for electric bicycle making recorded 5.5 percent annual expansion.
