One million doses of Sinopharm vaccines arrive in Sri Lanka


(MENAFN- NewsIn.Asia) Colombo, June 6 (newsin.asia) – A stock of one million doses of the Sinopharm vaccines arrived in Sri Lanka from China this morning.

This is the largest consignment of vaccines brought to Sri Lanka at one time.

Previously, 500,000 doses of Sinopharm COVID-19 arrived on May 25th and 600,000 doses of Sinopharm COVID-19 was sent by China as a gift on March 31.

Army Commander General Shavendra Silva reported that the second doses of the Sinopharm vaccines will begin to be administered from June 8 , exactly a month after the first doses began to be administered.
