Rocket assault from Gaza leaves 2 foreigners dead in Southern Israel


(MENAFN) Israel’s medics stated that on Tuesday, may. 18 rocket and mortar assaults from Gaza left two foreigners dead who work in a packaging factory in southern Israel.

The Magen David Adom emergency health service noted in a report that another seven people were injured in the occurrence in the Eshkol Regional Council, one of whom suffered severe wounds.

Victims were two males in their 30s, said Israeli state-owned Kan TV news in a report without indicating their nationalities.

Reports released by the police and the military said that in the assault, militants in the Gaza Strip launched dozens of rockets and mortars at southern Israel, comprising the cities of Beersheba and Ashdod, and communities in the vicinity of Gaza.
