Seychelles visitor’s number increases since reopening of its airport

(MENAFN)The number of visitors entered Seychelles increased since the reviving of its airport in March, thanks to tourists' increasing confidence brought by the mass vaccination of COVID-19 vaccines in the country.

Seychellois President Wavel Ramkalawan disproved a new fallacy that China's Sinopharm vaccine, together with some from other countries, is not effective on the population, according to the Seychelles News Agency.

Ramkalawan further declared that "It is important to mention that up to this date, Seychelles has not recorded any case of mortality of people fully vaccinated. And this has shown us the efficacy of the vaccination."

Seychelles started its vaccination campaign in first month of 2021 with the Sinopharm vaccine being administered to people aged 18-60, and the president was the first in the country to take the vaccine.
