Egypt, Greece, the Netherlands FMs talk about conflict in Gaza Strip


(MENAFN) Egypt’s Foreign Ministry stated in a report that on Monday, May. 17 the Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry had two phone conversations with his Greek and Dutch counterparts over the aggression in the Palestinian lands.

The report stated: "talks with the Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and the Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok have tackled the escalated tensions in the Gaza Strip."

The three top diplomats also talked about the applied attempts to reach a ceasefire there.

It further said, the Greek and Dutch foreign ministers praised the role and genuine attempts of Egypt to reach a truce and stop the ongoing stalemate.
