(MENAFN)According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the wholesale prices of China's agricultural goods dropped last week.
From May 7 to May 14, the China agricultural goods wholesale price index hit 118.18, it fell 0.87 points week on week.
On a weekly basis, the average wholesale price of pork, a staple meat in China, fell 5.2 percent to 28.86 yuan (about USD4.5) per kg, and that of mutton dropped 0.3 percent to 76.73 yuan per kg.
The average wholesale prices of 19 key kinds of vegetables tracked by the government augmented 0.8 percent from the past week.
