Turkey's central government's budget witnesses USD772M extra in Jan-April


(MENAFN)According to the Treasury and Finance Ministry, Turkey's central government's budget balance witnessed a 5.9 billion Turkish liras (USD772 million) extra in first four months.

The number increased from a 72.8 billion Turkish lira (USD11.6 billion) shortage in the same period 2020.

Turkey's budget revenues improved 36.4 percent annual to 437.9 billion Turkish liras (USD57.7 billion) in the in January-April period of the current year.

The country's budget expenditures amounted at 432 billion Turkish liras (USD56.9 billion) from first four months of 2021 increased 9.7 percent from a year ago.
