Amnesty International asks investigation into the destruction of al-Jalaa tower


(MENAFN)Amnesty International urged for an investigation into the damage of al-Jalaa tower that housed foreign media offices by Israeli warplanes in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli warplanes damaged Al-Jalaa Tower, which housed the offices of various media groups, including Al Jazeera and the Associated Press.

Israeli missiles assassinated two Palestinian mothers and eight children in al-Shati refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip.

Amnesty International posted on Twitter that “Direct attacks on civilians are war crimes,” adding that it is “deeply concerned over the mounting death toll in Gaza”.
