Jordan, Cyprus FMs talk about efforts to stop Israeli actions against Gaza


(MENAFN)Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Cypriot counterpart Nikos Christodoulides on Sunday, May 16, talked about the Israeli-Palestinian clash and the methods to stop "illegal" Israeli actions against Gaza Strip.

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry stated in a report at a gathering in Amman, they highlighted the need for continued management planned at resolving local crises and attaining security and stability, while voicing eagerness on improving joint collaboration in a variety of fields.

Safadi stated that the basic issue is the need to apply a real international effort to defend the Palestinians and protect the area from historical effects of extended worries and breaches against Gaza.

Calling the situation in Gaza as "very dangerous," he advised the international community to carry its liability to oblige the Israeli face to stop its violence that pushes the area toward further intensification and clash.
