Australia’s PM to pay visit to New Zealand for yearly assembly


(MENAFN) Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison will pay a visit to New Zealand for the yearly Australia-New Zealand Leaders' Meeting on May 30-31, declared New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Monday, May. 17.

Ardern stated in a report that Morrison and his wife will reach Queenstown on May 30 and the meeting will be on the following day.

Ardern stated: "I'm looking forward to welcoming Prime Minister Morrison back to New Zealand following a difficult year for both our countries through the pandemic."

Ardern noted that in the visit, both prime ministers will also engage with Australian and New Zealand business, tourism, and community leaders.
