Chinese developed production rises 9.8 pct in April


(MENAFN) On Monday, May. 17 figures from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) demonstrated that the Chinese value-added developed production, a significant economic gauge, climbed 9.8 percent annually last month as factory activities kept recovering.

According to NBS figures, the number rose 14.1 percent from the level witnessed in 2019, leading the average expansion for the last two years to 6.8 percent.

In the January-April period, developed production jumped 20.3 percent annually, leading to an average two-year expansion of 7 percent.

Developed production is utilized to gauge the activity of selected large companies with yearly business turnovers of at least 20 million yuan (around USD3.11 million).
