Moroccan gov’t to send humanitarian support to Palestinians


(MENAFN) On Saturday, May. 15 official Al Oula radio stated that Morocco will send 40 tons of vital humanitarian support to the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

It noted: "Moroccan King Mohammed VI, chairman of the Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Committee, instructed to send emergency humanitarian aid to the Palestinian population in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip."

It further said that this humanitarian support will be airlifted by the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces, and includes essential medical supplies and food.

In the meantime, Morocco’s Foreign Affairs Ministry condemned "in the strongest terms the violence perpetrated in the occupied Palestinian territories."
