(MENAFN) FAW Jiefang, a truck subsidiary of the Chinese top carmaker FAW Group stated it sold 248,922 trucks during the January-April period of 2021, a rise by 41.41 percent annually.
Of the overall, 213,846 heavy-duty trucks were sold in the first four months, a climb by 45.17 percent annually.
Since the first Jiefang truck rolled off the assembly line in 1956, the brand has increased its presence to a number of 80 nations and regions.
Established in 1953 and based in the northeastern province of Jilin, the state-owned FAW Group is recognized as the cradle of China's car industry.
