Ukraine''s GDP shrinks by 2% in Q1, 2021


(MENAFN- UkrinForm)Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) in the first quarter of 2021 decreased by 2% compared to the first quarter of 2020, the State Statistics Service has reported.

According to the report, compared to the previous quarter, the country's GDP in the first quarter of this year decreased by 1.1% (taking into account the seasonal factor), and compared to the first quarter of 2020, it fell by 2%.

Ukraine's nominal GDP in 2020 amounted to UAH 4.19 trillion, 4% less than in 2019. Ukraine's nominal GDP per capita in 2020 was UAH 100,470.
