Teresa Anne Fowler


(MENAFN- The Conversation) Teresa Anne Fowler is an assistant professor at Concordia University of Edmonton in the faculty of education. Her research focuses on critical white masculinities and the implications of masculinity on men's mental health as well as anti-colonial pedagogic approaches to teacher education and is a member of Concordia's research cluster: Scholars Countering Intersectional Racism and Oppression. She has recently published a co-edited book, Duoethnographic encounters: Opening spaces for difficult dialogues in times of uncertainty as well as published articles in the Sociology of Sport, Taboo: The Journal of Culture and Education, The Journal of the Canadian Association for Curriculum Studies, The Northwest Journal of Teacher Education, and also works with school districts to move towards decentering whiteness.
