(MENAFN- UkrinForm)The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a procedure for using funds to create a research laboratory to deal with infectious materials.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal wrote about this on his Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.
"We are taking an important step towards the improvement of the research and technical development sector. The government has established the procedure for using funds to create a modern specialized laboratory to work with infectious materials. It will be equipped at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics under the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine," Shmyhal wrote.
As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky called for the creation of a modern laboratory for the development of vaccines and medicines as soon as possible. The government has envisaged UAH 100 million in the 2021 state budget to establish such a laboratory.
