Jeddah: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, HRH Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, held a talks session at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah yesterday.
At the beginning of the session, HRH the Crown Prince welcomed H H the Amir and the accompanying delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, conveying the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. For his part, H H the Amir expressed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
H H the Amir and HRH the Saudi Crown Prince exchanged greetings on the advent of Eid Al Fitr, praying to Allah the Almighty to accept all good deeds and bless the occasion for the Arab and Islamic Ummah.
The session dealt with discussing brotherly bilateral relations and the means to enhance them in different fields, in addition to discussing the most prominent regional and international issues, particularly developments in the region.
The session was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying H H the Amir.
It was attended on the Saudi side by HRH Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HRH Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HRH the Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, H E Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al Aiban, and HE Governor of the Public Investment Fund Yasser bin Othman Al Rumayyan.
H H the Amir attended a Suhur banquet held by HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence in honour of His Highness and the accompanying delegation.
Earlier, Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in Jeddah yesterday evening, on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
H H the Amir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
