(MENAFN- UkrinForm)Ukraine has recorded 2,817 new coronavirus cases over the past day, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 2,122,327.
"Some 2,817 new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were recorded in Ukraine as of May 10, 2021. In particular, 159 children and 31 health workers contracted COVID-19," Health Minister Maksym Stepanov posted on his Facebook page.
According to the minister, 119 deaths, 9,002 recoveries, and 1,414 hospitalizations were registered in Ukraine in the past day.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 46,512 deaths and 1,768,753 recoveries have been recorded.
The highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was registered in Dnipropetrovsk region (449), Donetsk region (243), Lviv region (217), Kyiv region (184), and Kharkiv region (175).
