China: Taiyuan coal business price index increases

(MENAFN)China Taiyuan coal business price index hit 144.24 points on Monday, May 10, increased 2.8 percent week on week and marking a successive increase for four weeks.

The index, issued by China Taiyuan Coal Transaction Center (CTCTC) based in Shanxi, a coal-rich province, shows the coal price levels and changes in the major output regions of China. It is issued every Monday.

Analysts declared that purchasing demand of end users continues to be issued, and the thermal coal market in producing regions remains tight, causing the prices to augment.

With more than 10,000 posted coal dealers, the CTCTC is the main coal trading center in China
