Saudi Arabia, Pakistan support rights of Palestinians


(MENAFN)Saudi Arabia and Pakistan showed their full support for "all the legitimate rights" of the Palestinians, particularly their right to self-determination and creation of their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Pakistan's Foreign Ministry stated that in an assembly amid Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in Jeddah, the declaration was made.

It further declared that "In the constructive spirit of discussions, the two sides reaffirmed their full support for all the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, especially, their right to self-determination and establishment of their independent state with pre-1967 borders and East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant UN resolutions."
