Seven civilians injured in houthi missile attack in Maareb - SABA


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ADEN, May 10 (KUNA) -- Seven civilians were injured when houthi militias fired a ballistic missiles at a residential neighborhood in central Maareb, local authorities said late Sunday.
They were quoted by the SABA news agency as saying the houthis struck the neighborhood at 12:30 a.m. injuring seven civilians.
The said this was the fifth missile fired by the houthis against civilian population in Maareb in the past seven days.
The militias have been stepping up their military operations against Maareb for around a year now in a bid to control the oil-rich governorate, considered as a stronghold of the legitimate government in northern Yemen. (end)
