Qatar continues to be in UK red list travel restrictions still in place: Qatar Embassy


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Qatar Embassy in London reminded that as per UK’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office advice travel to and from the UK is not allowed since the country was added to the red list on March 19. 

It further added that direct flights from Qatar remain banned. Visitors who have been in or have passed through Qatar during the past 10 days will not be permitted to enter the United Kingdom. 

Under the rules of the Red List, all visitors must make undergo quarantine in a government-approved hotel for 10 days.

Passengers authorized to enter are: 

- If you are a British or Irish National, or you have residence rights in the UK.
- Students with residence permits 
- Entry permits for patients and their companions who have prior arrangements for medical treatment
