Pakistan, Saudi Arabia to reinforce ties


(MENAFN)Pakistan’s prime minister met the crown prince of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah on Saturday, May 8, to talk about joint, regional, and international matters, counting the Afghan peace dialogue and the Kashmir dispute.
According to a report by the Prime Minister’s Office, Imran Khan and Mohammed bin Salman reaffirmed the sturdy and historic bonds between the two sides originated firmly in shared principles, common values, mutual trust, and very old tradition of joint support.
Khan, who is on a three-day visit to the oil-rich kingdom, repeated Pakistan’s “abiding” support for the power and defensive integrity of Saudi Arabia.
He sketched his vision for a nonviolent area to proceed objects of national economic improvement and underlined Islamabad’s “consistent” efforts to sustain peace and settlement in Afghanistan.
