Iranian MP advises growth in nuclear discussion

(MENAFN)A senior associate of the Iranian parliament advised on Saturday, May 8, that if the Western parties fail to respect their 2015 nuclear accord commitments by May 24, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will have no admission to the statistics posted at Iran's nuclear sites.

"According to the Strategic Action Plan to Counter Sanctions (SAPCS), the opportunity for the West to fulfill its obligations will end on May 24, and Iran will take action in accordance with that law," Mojtaba Zonnouri, chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, stated in an interview with semi-official Tasnim news agency.

On Feb. 21, 2020, Iran hit a temporary joint understanding with the IAEA to delay the full implementation of the Iranian parliament's SAPCS law for three months.
