(MENAFN)China's courier sector witnessed growth last year, official statistics reveal.
The State Post Bureau stated in a report issued on Saturday, the China express delivery improvement index hit 1,259.1 in 2020, it increased 26.1 percent year on year.
The sub-indices for improvement scale, development popularity and improvement trend correspondingly increased 28.3 percent, 7.1 percent and 21.2 percent from a year earlier, according to the bureau.
The courier sector handled about 83.36 billion parcels last year, as it increased 31.2 percent from the number in 2019, the bureau added.
