Iran meets Indian Ambassador to discuss removing trade barriers


(MENAFN)Head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) organized virtual meetings with Indian Ambassador to Tehran Gaddam Dharmendra to talk about withdrawing trade barriers and growth of relations.

In the assembly of both sides showed displeasure with the current levels of trade amid both countries and urged for serious measures to be taken for revitalizing the joint economic exchanges, according to the TPO portal.

Zadboum highlighted the need to withdraw barriers to joint trade and find new ways to expand trade ties amid both countries.

Both sides must continue talks on the preferential trade deal and exchange the list of goods that will be included in this deal, the official stated. He added that the necessary must be held to bring back petrochemical, industrial, and steel goods into the basket of Iranian exports to India.
