Turkish Treasury's cash balance marks deficit of USD1.62B in April


(MENAFN)According to the country Ministry of Treasury and Finance Ministry, the Turkish Treasury's cash balance issued a shortfall of 13.29 billion Turkish liras (USD1.62 billion) in April.

The Treasury's cash revenues amounted at 97.45 billion Turkish liras (USD11.9 billion) last month, marking a 48 percent yearly improvement.

Its expenditures, including interest payments of 12.7 billion Turkish liras (USD1.55 billion), stood at some 111.5 billion liras (USD13.63 billion), dropped 1.15 percent in the stated time span.

Non-interest expenditures reached 98.8 billion Turkish liras (USD12.07 billion), issuing a 1.39 billion lira (USD170 million) shortfall in the primary balance.
