Qatar- Part of Abdullah Bin Jassim Street one-way only for 6 months


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the implementation of a temporary traffic diversion on a part of Abdullah Bin Jassim Street, between Jabr Bin Mohamed and Grand Hamad Streets.

The traffic on this part will be converted to a one-way road consisting of two lanes in the direction from Jabr Bin Mohamed Street to Grand Hamad Street. The closure will be implemented today (May 8). It will remain in place for 6 months.

The closure will be implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, and it aims to allow the implementation of the infrastructure development and beautification works on Abdullah Bin Jassim Street, as part of Doha central Development and Beautification Projects - Package 2A.

During the closure period, those wishing to use this part of Abdullah Bin Jassim Street, to reach Jabr Bin Mohamed Street, are advised to continue to Al Corniche Street or Ali Bin Abdulla Street, then continue to Jabr Bin Mohamed Street, as shown in the map above.
