Doha: Since April 1, the Chefs of Qatar food festival has taken patrons on a flavourful journey, and is now entering its final week.
Hosted by Qatar National Tourism Council in collaboration with talabat, Qatar Airways and Qatar Charity, the initiative showcases Qatar's best restaurants and star chefs while providing residents with an opportunity to enjoy these delicacies in the absence of dine-in facilities while also contributing to a worthy cause.
Foodies have one more week to order and participate in the draw to win two return economy tickets from Qatar Airways to any destination of their choice. A total of 19 internationally and locally celebrated chefs are representing top restaurants in the Chefs of Qatar festival.
These include Qatari chefs Hassan Al Ibrahim and Noor Al Mazroei collaborating with Mondrian Doha and Park Hyatt Doha respectively. A new chef on board is Chef Surjan Singh Jolly from Riyasat at St. Regis. The festival features delectable dishes and iftar-dinner combos by 29 top restaurants from 18 hotels.
With each order placed through the Chefs of Qatar menu on talabat, customers automatically enter a raffle draw to win one of 24 return economy tickets from Qatar Airways to a destination of their choice. And with each order placed, a donation of QR7 is made towards a meal fun by Qatar Charity. The festival has until now led to more than 4,500 meals ordered.
