Chinese stocks end lower on Friday


(MENAFN) Chinese shares ended lower Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropping 0.65 percent, at 3,418.87 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index settled 1.95 percent lower at 13,933.81 points.

The combined turnover of stocks covered by the two indices came in at 883.9 billion yuan (around USD136.7 billion), a climb from around USD136 billion in the prior trading day.

Shares linked to the coal and digital currency domain led the gains, whereas the medical equipment and bio-pharmaceutical fields led the losses.
