(MENAFN) Official figures demonstrated that the majority of the capital goods tracked by the administration recorded higher prices in late April in comparison with mid-April in 2021.
The National Bureau of Statistics said that of the 50 key goods tracked by the administration, comprising seamless steel tubes, gasoline, coal, fertilizer and some chemicals, 34 witnessed a rise in their prices, whereas 12 recorded lower prices, and the prices of four stayed the same.
Hog prices dropped 2.6 percent in the stated period.
The figures, issued every 10 days, are anchored in a survey of almost 2,000 wholesalers and distributors in 31 provincial-level regions.
