Turkish Treasury's cash balance records deficit of USD1.62B


(MENAFN)According to the country Ministry of Treasury and Finance Ministry, the Turkish Treasury's cash balance recorded a deficit of 13.29 billion Turkish liras (USD1.62 billion) in 2020.

The Treasury's cash revenues amounted at 97.45 billion Turkish liras (USD11.9 billion), reporting a 48 percent yearly improvement.


Its expenditures, including interest payments of 12.7 billion Turkish liras (USD1.55 billion), came on at 111.5 billion liras (USD13.63 billion), dropped 1.15 percent in the stated period.

Non-interest expenditures stood at 98.8 billion Turkish liras (USD12.07 billion), counting a 1.39 billion lira (USD170 million) deficit in the primary balance.
