Qatar Mosque opens in Palestine


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The State of Qatar, represented by the Qatar Fund for Development, inaugurated Qatar Mosque in the Rawabi City project in Palestine in the presence of the Prime Minister of Palestine, Dr Mohamed Shtayyeh, Qatar News Agency reported on Thursday. The Qatari delegation was headed by QFFD director-general and chairman of the Board of Directors of Bayti Real Estate Investment Company, Khalifa bin Jassem al-Kuwari. The inauguration was also attended by founding partner Bashar al-Masry and the Mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Mohamed Ahmad Hussein, in addition to VIPs from the Palestinian community. The mosque has been built on a total area of about 8,400sqm, and its capacity is estimated at about 3,000 worshippers.
