Zelensky meets with Blinken in Kyiv


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has begun in Kyiv, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Ukrainian president's press service.

'It is a great pleasure and honor for me personally and for Ukraine to welcome the delegation of the United States of America, our strategic partner, at such a high level. This is very important first of all for the Ukrainian people, for our independence and sovereignty, which the United States has supported since 2014, and we are grateful to you for this support," Zelensky said.



The President's Office reminded that after the talks, Ukrainian President Zelensky and U.S. Secretary of State Blinken will have a brief conversation with media representatives.

As reported, on April 6, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Ukraine on a working visit.
