Qatar- Malarvadi Children conducts Qur'an contest


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Malarvadi Children organisation recently conducted the Holy Qur'an contest for children under 13 years of age. Preliminary round for the 11th season of the contest was held at various locations in Qatar, where hundreds of children participated.
From the preliminary round, first three winners were selected for the final round, where a total of 42 children contested in the final round.
The first three positions were shared with two children both in junior and senior categories.
The winners in the junior category are: Ijaz Abdullah (Wakra), Abeeb Rahman Qassim (Madinath Khalifa), Nadeem Nadeer (Rayyan), Mazin Ajmal (Madinath Khalifa), Mohamed Faiz bin Abdullah (Rayyan), and Munza Bassam (Rayyan).
The winners in the senior category are: Faheem Mohamed (Doha), Shaima Hashim (Doha), Rana Abdul Rasheed (Wakrah), Sajeeh Nasirudheen (Rayyan), Ishal Saina (Wakrah) and Maize Nasarudheen (Madinath Khalifa).
Malarvadi Qatar patrons Nafeesath Beevi and Mushtaq K H congratulated the winners.
Malarvadi officials Rafna Shanawas, Babeena Basheer, Shabna Shafi, Sajni Ummer, Bushra Rafi and Abdul Jaleel MM managed the contest.
