(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Kyiv has confirmed 622 new coronavirus cases in the past day, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
As of May 6, the total number of confirmed cases in Kyiv reached 197,357, Klitschko wrote on his Telegram channel.
Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv in the past day are 339 women aged 19-85 years; 17 girls aged between 3 months and 15 years; 254 men aged 19-84 years; 12 boys aged between 5 days and 16 years old.
Twenty-three people have died in the past day. In total, 4,720 lethal cases from the virus have been registered in the capital since the start of the pandemic.
At the same time, 704 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 125,315 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease since the start of the pandemic.
As reported, Ukraine recorded 6,038 new coronavirus cases on May 5.
