(MENAFN)Pakistan Army Chief Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa gathered with his Saudi counterpart Gen. Fayiadh Bin Hamed Al Rowaily to talk about regional security, and efforts for peace in Afghanistan.
A Pakistan Army statement stated that Bajwa, on an official visit to the oil-rich kingdom, also talked about defense and security.
He highlighted the requirement to improve military-to-military collaboration amid the countries’’ armed forces, stating that this will have a "positive impact on peace and security in the region."
Rowaily offered assurances of Riyadh's "full" cooperation to Islamabad's initiatives for "improving regional cooperation, peace, and stability."
