Ania is an Underwater and Coastal Archaeologist, Archaeological Scientist and an Ancient Historian. She is currently working as a Lecturer in Archaeology at Flinders University, Adelaide, South Australia.
Ania has worked as an archaeologist and a cultural heritage expert around the globe on over 60 sites in some 30 countries. She is currently a member of archaeological expeditions in Egypt, Near East, and East Africa.
Ania is interested in ancient trade and the adaptations of remote communitites to changing marginal landscapes. She co-directs a couple of projects from the low-lying atolls of Kiribati, Micronesia to the high altitudes of the Indian Himalaya.
