China: SMEs post steady revival

( MENAFN ) The energy of China's small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) enhanced in the first quarter of 2021 as the economy further rebounded from the effect of coronavirus, per the newest industry statistics.

According to the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Index, based on a review of 3,000 SMEs, augmented 0.5 points to 87.5 in the first quarter and reached its uppermost level since the same period of 2020.

The index contains numerous sub-indexes to estimate the performances and anticipations of SMEs. A reading above 100 shows an uphill trend in business while a reading below 100 shows dented vitality.
