(MENAFN)Belarus has put stress on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in its joint collaboration with China in latest years, and discovered possibilities to improve improvement in this field, particularly amid the coronavirus pandemic.
On March 18, the Great Stone China-Belarus industrial park which sits close to Minsk greeted a new resident firm, Novoera Biotech, with a scheme in the field of TCM. At the first phase, it plans to systematize the output of medicines for the treatment of coronavirus.
Belarusian envoy to China Yuri Senko has told Xinhua "In the fight against a new type of coronavirus, traditional Chinese medicine has proved to be effective in terms of supportive therapy and prevention".
First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov stated in an interview with Xinhua in February that Belarus has set a draft presidential decree on further enhancing the conditions for doing business in the industrial park, according to which the most comfortable conditions will be shaped in Belarus for the production of medicines and medical devices, in addition to the provision of medical care and diagnostics.
